Holly Willoughby posts glam Pride snap with her 'happy' dog Bailey

Holly Willoughby has posted a glam Instagram snap with her pet dog Bailey to celebrate Pride in London.

It was difficult to judge who was happiest on the picture that was lit up by Holly’s famous smile, although her beloved golden retriever looked like he was also enjoying the July sunshine with his eyes closed and mouth open in a blissful look of contentment.

The This Morning presenter expressed her regret that she could not attend Saturday’s (July 2) biggest-ever Pride in London parade on the event’s 50th-year anniversary, along with her “ITV family”.

But she went on to explain that she was celebrating her father Brian’s 70th birthday this weekend.

Holly’s colleagues Phillip Schofield and Alison Hammond were both pictured joining in the Pride revelry.

In her photo, Holly was wearing sunglasses and a strapped light blue dress with a daisy design.

But Bailey almost stole her limelight with his adorable pose in the background.

The post has attracted more than 21,000 likes with Holly captioning the post: “The sun is shining down on @pride London today… If you are going, have the best time… wish I was with my @itv family today at the parade but it’s my dad’s 70th birthday celebration this weekend… enjoy!”

Commenting on Bailey’s sunny disposition, one smitten Instagram fan wrote: “I can’t even cope with how happy your dog looks.”

An estimated 26,000 people took part in the Pride parade with another million believed to have watched it after flocking to the capital as London became a sea of rainbow colours for the day.

It was launched in the afternoon by members of the emergency services who helped in the aftermath of the London terrorist attacks and the Grenfell tower disaster.
