Holly Willoughby strips off to skimpy lingerie in forgotten film with Rachel Stevens

Rachel Stevens is known as one seventh of the iconic 90s band S Club 7, who stormed to the top of the charts with hit singles such as Reach For The Stars, S Club Party, and Never Had a Dream Come True.

In recent years, the pop singer has wowed viewers with her impressive dance moves both on the ballroom dance floor on Strictly Come Dancing as well as on the ice rink during this year’s instalment of Dancing on Ice.

But the songstress has proven she is a woman with many hidden talents after she recently turned her hand to the fashion industry with her loyal legion of fans flooding to her Instagram page to get their daily dose of the fashionista.

Outside of her several career opportunities, the blonde bombshell also pours herself into her family life as she raises her two daughters Amelie, 11, and Minnie, seven, with her childhood sweetheart Alex Bourne.

Now, as the 90s sensation prepares to celebrate her 44th birthday this weekend, the Daily Star have taken a look inside her brush with Hollywood fame after she starred in a feature film with This Morning’s Holly Willoughby.

Alongside her fellow bandmates Paul Cattermole, Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jon Lee and Tina Barrett, the group became a huge hit in the 90s and even went on to star in their own feature film titled Artistic Differences.

The premise of the story sees the group face danger as Bradley falls out with Paul over artistic differences and decides to join a rival band, while Rachel plans to leave the band and get married.

Interestingly, the movie appeared to foreshadow the eventual downfall of the group after Paul left in 2002 for the same reason while the rest of the group disbanded in 2004.

The film also depicted the TV star’s future wedding to her loving partner as she was seen walking down the aisle to one of the pop groups’ hit songs, Never Had a Dream Come True.

But the film also helped to launch the career of another well-known celebrity – Holly Willoughby – who was still an unknown TV presenter until the movie hit theatres.

The blonde bombshell appeared in the film as Paul’s love interest, Zoe, that she took on at the age of 19 which she won after taking part on CITV’s S Club TV.

In the movie, the mum-of-three donned a black dress as she asked Paul: “So, I know someone with connections?” as the singer spotted a huge billboard of Holly in a bra above them in the street.

But this wasn’t the only film the group starred in as they went on to produce a follow-up film three years later titled Seeing Double which sees the group replaced by lookalikes after complaining about how tough it is to stay at the top of the charts.

Now, twenty years on, Rachel and Holly reunited for the popular ITV skating competition, as the bubbly host welcomed the singer to the ice rink each Sunday on the show.

Unfortunately, the star was booted out of the competition in the second week of the series after she struggled to keep up with her celebrity competitors following an injury to her wrist back in December.

As predicted in the film, the loving mum walked down the aisle to her own S Club 7 ballad as she said ‘I Do’ to her loving husband who she first met at the age of 12 in their local youth club.

But much to the disappointment of her loyal fans none of her bandmates were invited to her 2009 ceremony, which saw the star bombarded with questions about whether she had fallen out with the group.

Speaking at the time, she was no longer friends with her bandmates, who were together from 1999 – 2003 before they went onto briefly reunite in 2014.

But the singer reassured her doting fans that there was no bad blood between her and the other singers.

She explained: “I haven’t seen any of them for so long, so no, I don’t think any of them will be there.

“It’s not because I don’t want them, but because we’re not really in touch anymore. Our paths have gone in different directions.”

However, several other celebrities did manage to squeeze an invite to the star-studded event, including Coronation Street star Kate Ford – known for playing Tracey Barlow, and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Philips.
