Holly Willoughby's Dancing on Ice love story hopes ruined by Regan Gascoigne

Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby has had her hopes of seeing a love story on the TV show dashed.

Celebrity skater Regan Gascoigne reckons there is no room for romance this year.

The dancer, who is the son of Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne, said: “I don’t think that’s the vibe.

“I think everyone here is just getting along as good friends.. but wait and see.”

Before the show launched, Holly admitted she was looking forward to an ice romance.

She said: “There is nothing better than when people start falling in love.”

The ITV show has had some sparks fly between celebrities and skaters in the past.

Meanwhile the celebrities have started up their own Whatsapp group to swap injury stories and photos.

Due to COVID restrictions the skating pairs cannot mix and mingle to gossip so messaging is the best way to keep in touch.
