Hollyoaks beauty Nikki Sanderson has taken to social media to share a sweet snap with her new beau.
The actress, who plays Maxine Minniver in the Channel 4 soap, logged into her Instagram page earlier this week to post a selfie with former Emmerdale star Anthony Quinlan.
Anthony, who played Pete Barton in the ITV soap, opened up about his relationship with Nikki in a recent interview and revealed that she made him “really, really happy”.
Nikki, 38, treated fans to a loved-up selfie which she shared in view of her 448,000 followers.
The pair shared a huge grin as she cosied up for the selfie as they joined some time together.
She penned alongside a picture of photograph: “The happiest of happy birthdays to the man who makes me smile the most.”
“I hope your day is as amazing as you are,” the soap siren added, as well as a string of hashtags, including #boyfriend.
Unsurprisingly, Nikki’s social media display caught the attention of her fans, with some rushing to leave a message for the star in the comment section.

One fan gushed: “Stunning !! What a perfect couple.”
Another added: “How gorgeous.”
A third person posted: “Oh I absolutely love this!!!!!”
While a fourth social media user said: “Gorgeous both of you.”
Anthony, 37, replied in the comments, simply writing: “Thank you baby” with three red heart emojis.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Anthony had struck up a romance with Nikki.

He recently told The Sun: “I slid into the DMs and that was it. I was lucky enough to get a date and the rest is history.
“All I can say is I’m really, really happy and she’s a very special girl.
“She’s lovely. I’m happy that it is what it is and we haven’t got everyone prying.”
Anthony, who also previously starred in Hollyoaks as Gilly Roach, described his girlfriend as “very supportive”.

He also added that Nikki “gets” his current career ventures, having become the owner of vegan supplement brand BoxedOff.
Nikki split from her ex Greg Whitehurst in July 2020 after their five year romance came to an end during coronavirus lockdown.
She said at the time that despite separating, they will “remain friends and wish the best for each other in the future.”
