I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! fans were overjoyed to witness a very “satisfying” BushTucker Trial on Saturday night (November 12) when former Health Secretary Matt Hancock got gunged on TV.
After being voted to do a slimy trial by the public, Matt and Hollyoaks’ Romeo Nightingale actor Owen Warner took part in a jungle-themed version of ITV’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Entitled ‘Who Wants To Look Silly On Air?’ the duo had to answer questions while getting covered in gunge and other jungle delicacies in order to win stars for camp.

Viewers watching at home were quick to praise the trial, with one writing: “This is more satisfying watching Matt Hancock in this than in the eating trial.”
“Love watching Matt get covered in sh*t,” added a second.
A third then penned: “The sight of Matt Hancock covered in what looks like runny sh*t just made my week.”
“Really enjoyed seeing Hancock covered in slime and fish guts,” said a third, adding: “all Tory MPs should be made to do it for our amusement.”
Throughout the task the duo got pelted with feathers, custard and other messy substances – leaving them completely covered.
At the end of the parody gameshow, Matt and Owen found out that they had won five out of the 11 stars.
Owen said: “I’m not happy man, I’m covered in all sorts and we’ve only got 5 stars… he [Matt] was doing well until you got me on his team.”
Later Owen admitted in the Bush Telegraph: “I’m feeling very disappointed, very deflated. I’m not the smartest geezer about, which is probably why I got put to do that.”
He then added: “I feel a bit awful…
“I feel really tight that I’ve let the campmates down a little bit.”
This comes as viewers of the show call for fellow fans of I’m a Celeb to not vote for Matt to any more trials.
Fans of I’m a Celeb are tiring of Matt getting the majority of the air time each night, and want other people to have a go instead.
