Former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Lisa Snowdon has defended Charlene White over claims she is “controlling”.
The supermodel, 50, appeared on Thursday’s episode (November 10) of This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby and Matthew Wright to discuss the latest series of the ITV reality show.
While discussing Boy George’s critique of Charlene “taking over” the camp meals, Lisa explained the appeal of being camp chef – as she was for her own fellow campmates.

Lisa said: “I was straight away the camp cook which I loved because it was the most exciting part of the day.
“What was going to come down and what was going to be in that basket.
“They let me do it but there was a lot of pressure because they were all just staring at you while you were cooking.”
Conceding Boy George’s point of view, she later added: “The days are so long and it just gives you something to do and it’s a challenge… and he loves his food, George, and he’s a good cook.
“So I think you do in that case have to share it out a little bit and be a bit more conscientious.”
Lisa appeared on the 2016 series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
She was the second celeb to be voted off her series behind Danny Baker.
The 2016 run was eventually won by former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.
Lisa’s comments follow Boy George accusing the Loose Women star of being “bossy” around the camp’s good.
He said: “It’s so weird, that [food] bag comes down and Charlene just turns into an entirely different person.
“It’s amazing, she issues orders and tells everyone what to do. I’m like, ‘Wow’. You know, it’s like, ‘Who are you?”
He later added: “Charlene just issues orders. For me as an observer of my own feelings, it’s mind blowing.”
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! continues at 9pm tonight (November 10) on ITV.
