On tonight’s episode of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! the former health secretary Matt Hancock was stung by a scorpion, which left 80s singer Boy George laughing as it happened – and fans are divided, with one branding him “vile”.
In the morning while everyone was waking up, Conservative MP Matt yelled out in pain saying he felt like he had been bitten on his finger.
“Ow, that really hurts,” he shouted.

“I’ve got no splinter. Ow, that really hurts… it’s like I must have been bitten by something.
“Oh yeah! Wow, look at that a scorpion. I’ve been stung by a scorpion,” he shouted out.
He then went on to admit that it was “painful” and was “hurting a lot” and left him feeling “slightly dizzy”.
A Place In The Sun’s Scarlette Douglas tended to the former health secretary and told him to “sit” before telling the Bush Telegraph: “He looked like he wanted to cry.”
But not everybody had the same caring response as Scarlette.
While in the Bush Telegraph, Karma Chameleon singer Boy George laughed when he said: “How does that happen, of all the people that could get stung by a scorpion.
“I’m not laughing, I’m sure it was horrible but… [laughs]…”
Fans at home were quick to clock Boy George’s not-so-subtle laughing, with many reacting on Twitter.
One person wasn’t impressed with George’s reaction, writing: “Not the biggest fan of Matt Hancock for obvious reasons. But Boy George finding it hilarious that he got stung by a scorpion is vile! Can we get him out first.”
A second then echoed: “How rude is Boy George laughing at Matt getting stung by a scorpion, he could of been really hurt and its absolutely disgusting that people think it’s funny!!!”
“Not George cracking up at Matt getting stung,” a third laughed.
While a fourth penned: “George’s reaction to Matt being stung killed me,” with a slew of laughing emojis.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs weeknights on ITV and ITVHub at 9pm
