Jorgie Porter says it was a thrill to do lots of innuendos for the revival of Are You Being Served?
The Hollyoaks actress, 34, got to be very cheeky while playing saucy Miss Croft on the BBC special in 2016.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I have a naughty sense of humour. That’s no secret. Anyone who knows me knows I am like that.

“So I loved all the innuendos. The director was telling me to do more of them. I was like, ‘Oh, okay, I will’. I enjoyed it a lot.
“Making the show was an amazing experience. The cast was incredible. We all rehearsed it and then it was shot with a live studio audience. That was new to me.”
Jorgie got to work alongside a string of TV veterans on the show. It starred former Coronation Street actress Sherrie Hewson as Mrs Slocombe and Roy Barraclough as Mr Grainger.
But it was working with the late John Challis, who played Captain Peacock, that was the highlight. It was one of his last roles before his death last year aged 79.
Jorgie said: “John was so funny. He kept forgetting his lines. But he generated so much energy and made the audience laugh. He was an amazing man. I am so glad I got to have the experience of working with him.”
The special pulled in big viewing figures and was a hit with fans.
Writer Derren Litten was up for penning a full series, but killjoy Beeb bosses turned him down.
Jorgie said: “I would have loved it if we’d done a full series, but they did it with Porridge instead.”
