Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) try to warn Amelia Spencer (Daisy Cambell) that Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) is in trouble this week in Emmerdale.
However, their intervention only leaves Amelia feeling humiliated and angry, rather than concerned.
How will this affect their relationship with Amelia? And will Amelia listen to them? Fans of the ITV soap will have to wait and see.
Since arriving in Emmerdale back in 2011, Dan has been a part of some huge storylines, including trying to win back his ex-wife Ali Breckle (Kelli Hollis) and his romance with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
However away from the dales, Dan actor Liam Fox has had just as interesting a love life – including a marriage to another huge soap star.
Soap star ex
Liam Fox was not the only famous soap star in the family during his first marriage, as he was previously in relationship with a Hollyoaks legend.
For over 16 years from 1999-2015, Liam was married to Myra McQueen star Nicole Barber-Lane and they had two children together.
The couple had originally met in 1997 when they were both trainee teachers at Tameside College in Manchester – long before they became soap icons.
However, the couple announced their divorce in 2015, saying in a statement: “It is with much sadness that we confirm the end of our marriage, though our family unit remains strong.
“We will always love and respect each other and are united by our children and family remaining at the centre of our lives.”
The couple have also remained good friends, with a source telling Digital Spy at the time: “Liam and Nicole are divorcing as their relationship as man and wife has come to an end, but they genuinely remain good friends.
“They continue to socialise with each other and enjoy time together as a family with their children, also working on some projects together.”
University sweetheart
Although Liam’s first marriage sadly came to an end in 2015, he later found love with someone he had known all his life.
He first met his wife Joanna Hudson when they were studying Media and Performance at Salford University in 1993.
Although not a couple while at University, they later rekindled their friendship in 2017 and fell in love with one another.
Their romance followed Joanna’s health battle two years earlier, when she was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumour.
Joanna has since said that her health battle has made her appreciate her life with Liam even more, saying to The Express that she was “weeks away from death.”
She said: “I was seriously ill in 2015 and nearly lost my life, which makes me appreciate what I have with Liam even more.
“I nearly died from a tumour, when it was discovered I was weeks away from death.”
However, the tumour was later removed and Joanna has since made a full recovery, continuing her own successful acting career.
Like Liam, Jo has also appeared in Emmerdale too, playing Ross Barton’s Doctor, along with roles in TV programmes such as Children’s Ward.
Star-studded wedding
Away from the limelight, Liam proposed to Jo in 2019, with the couple announcing the news on Instagram in a selfie photo, captioned “She said yes.”
Liam and Joanna Hudson later married in a star studded wedding ceremony in 2020.
The loved up couple married at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, surrounded by celebrity friends including TV presenter Denise Van Outen and her daughter Betsy, nine, as well as Liam’s Emmerdale co-stars Fiona Wade, Chris Bisson, Chris Chittell and Lisa Riley.
Talking about his wedding to OK! Magazine, Liam gushed about their special day, saying: “It was everything I’d hoped for and more, so I’m chuffed.
“Me and JoJo were the last ones on the dance floor at 2.50am.”
Not only was it a special day, but Liam has also revealed that he has remained close to his ex-wife and her family, who were also invited as guests to the wedding.
He told OK! Magazine: “I even had my ex mother-in-law at the wedding! If Nicole wasn’t on tour, she’d have been there too.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV at 7pm
