ITV Starstruck judge Jason Manford told off over savage swipe at Prince Harry

Jason Manford took a cheeky swipe at Prince Harry during the latest instalment of Starstruck as he shared judged this week’s contestants.

During Saturday’s (March 12) edition of the popular ITV talent show, Steffan, Joe and Brandon took to the stage to try and bowl the judges over with their performances.

This week the trio tried to emulate Harry Styles as they sang their hearts out to his number one hit single Watermelon Sugar.

When Olly Murs asked the judges what they thought of the performance, the stand-up comic couldn’t help but poke fun at the royal family.

As the boys waited for their verdict, Jason joked: “Three Harry’s, it’s like the Royal Family’s worst nightmare.”

Mortified at his joke, Sheridan Smith turned to her fellow panellist, saying: “You can’t say that!”

He went on to say: “You know, this was another hard one tonight. Right, just go out there and be the sexiest man on the planet – that is a big ask and you came out with such confidence and swagger.

“Like Harry, you came out with confidence but not smug and that must be tempting when you’re the world’s sexiest man not to be smug about it.

“Well done boys, you absolutely nailed it. Fantastic,” he concluded.

And fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on his obvious dog online.

Another agreed: “3 Harry’s = the royal families worst nightmare #Starstruck.”

A third chimed in with: “Jason’s on fire with his jokes and impressions #Starstruck @JasonManford.”
