Jeremy Clarkson has paid an emotional tribute to the Queen in his latest column – but it wasn’t without a savage swipe aimed at Meghan Markle.
The Grand Tour star, 62, decided to honour the late monarch with his latest column and a poignant message on social media.
He dubbed the Queen “our unchanging rock” in the lengthy column, where he admitted he’d struggled to sleep on the day the sad news broke that she’d passed.

You can leave your tributes to Queen Elizabeth II here.
It comes after Queen Elizabeth II passed away “peacefully” aged 96 at her Balmoral estate on Thursday (September 8).
Reflecting on her 70-year reign, Jeremy told The Sun: “What’s truly incredible is that she never really changed.
“It was pointed out this week that she never went out of fashion because she was never in it. That is so true. And so admirable.”
But he then took a dig at Meghan as he added: “She didn’t see herself, as Meghan does, as a clothes horse or an advertising hoarding for people who make frocks and earrings.”
The former Top Gear star continued: “I loved her for that, the fact that she very obviously chose her outfit to suit the prevailing weather conditions, not the latest issue of Vogue.”
He later thanked the Queen for her service to the nation and for always being kind.
After writing his latest column, Jeremy took to Twitter to admit: “Ordinarily, I enjoy writing my newspaper columns but today, I found it so very hard.”
King Charles paid a moving tribute to his “darling mama” in his first public address as King on Friday.
Addressing her directly, the new king thanked the Queen for her “love and devotion” to the royal family and for her many decades of service to the crown.
He said: “To my darling Mama, as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late Papa, I want simply to say this. Thank you.
“Thank you for your love and devotion to our family, and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years.”
He concluded: “May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”
