Carl woods is currently engaged to one of the UK’s most famous women but claims he isn’t a “celebrity” himself and isn’t after fame.
Katie Price’s 32-year-old partner chatted exclusively to the Daily Star at the Celeb MMA press conference last week.
The event took place at Lit nightclub in Clapham to promote the big fight night on June 24.
Talking about his public reputation, he said: “It’s f***ed ain’t it, the truth doesn’t sell, does it?
“Look, I am completely and utterly loyal yeah, Katie will never have anyone as loyal as me, she just wouldn’t.
“I’m an individual person, I’m a good worker, I’m close to my family, I’m just a normal guy.”

He also touched upon his previous TV career, when he briefly featured on ITV’s Love Island in 2016.
However, he doesn’t officially refer to himself as an Islander, as he said: “No, you can’t say that I did, I was on there for like 10 minutes, but I ain’t a fame-hungry person.
“I’m not famous now, I’m not a celebrity, I’m not in that category – I’m a normal guy, so I can’t put myself in that category.”

Carl also revealed he would love to go on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
He explained: “I would love to do stuff like the jungle – you can’t do better than Katie in there, but to be fair I think I would be horrific in there because I would do none of that eating s***, but like tough s***, you’re all going hungry.
“All of the daredevil stuff I’d be fine with though.”

His partner Katie starred on the popular show herself two separate times, in 2004 and 2009, and even met Peter Andre, the father of her two kids Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, on the show.
This comes after Carl’s MMA opponent Robbie McMahon blasted Katie, 43.
The MTV star claimed that she is definitely not in it for the “long-run” with Carl, who is currently his opponent in an upcoming Celeb MMA match.
Robbie was also asked whether he would ever date the OnlyFans influencer, to which he replied: “I shoot higher than that, sorry.”
