Kim Kardashian has to be cut out of skintight head-to-toe sticky tape outfit

Kim Kardashian rocked the fashion world when she turned up at the Balenciaga show wearing a skintight catsuit made of yellow and black caution tape.

The 41-year-old influencer made quite the entrance when she arrived, sporting a black neck to toe catsuit and stilettos covered in Balenciaga-printed tape, a matching handbag and black sunglasses.

She wore her long black hair in a slicked back, wet look style as she perched next to Vogue’s Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour for the catwalk show.

She shared a behind-the-scenes snap of the creation process, showing her team wrapping the Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star as she sat in a chair.

Kim then shared a panoramic video of the fashion show that had been recorded behind her as a model walked past in a blue dress.

Fans have noted similarities between the outfit and one pop star’s famous music video.

The look was clearly influenced by Lady Gaga’s video for Telephone featuring Beyoncé, in which the songstress can be seen wearing nothing but yellow and black tape covering her intimate areas.

Fans were divided over Kim’s bold look and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on her unusual outfit choice.

One user tweeted: “What do we call this? Fashion statement or fashion disaster?”

Another gave their opinion: “Love fashion but the tape is too out there, even for me.”

“Seemed like an awesome idea but it was very poorly executed, the tape on the boot and arms looks like a mess and very rushed,” said one eagle-eyed fan.

Kim has recently been caught in the middle of her ex-husband’s onslaught of threats to her new boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson.

Kanye’s video for his new song Eazy shows the rapper dragging Davidson’s body and burying him alive, alongside lyrics that suggest he wants to “beat Pete Davidson’s a**”.

Kim and Pete began dating towards the end of 2021, but the pair have worked together on SNL multiple times and were well acquainted before they began their relationship.

Amongst the drama, Kim has also made herself legally single and has dropped Kanye’s surname, making her simply Kim Kardashian once more.

Kim and Kanye have four kids together – North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint.
