Sexy Water Routine
Ten years after the Pussycat Dolls split, super fans waited with anticipated for a possible comeback. In 2020, the US girl band, known for hits such as Don’t Cha and Buttons, unveiled a jaw-dropping video for comeback single React.
The outrageous clip shows the ladies sporting barely there PVC nude leotards paired with elbow length gloves as they gyrate around on a water-drenched set.
40-year-old Kimberly can be seen sprawled out on a chair splashing around in the water offering up some major sex appeal and delighting their legions of fans.
In another scene from the video, the ladies are seen dressed in skimpy black PVC outfits and knee-length boots, dancing in sync inside what looks like a cage made of flames.
Shocking strip show
Viewers were in for a shock in 2020 while tucking into their breakfast when the outrageous girl group appeared on an Australian morning TV show and began performing a “singing strip show”.
As the band began gyrating on chairs on breakfast show Sunrise, Kimberly shocked viewers by donning a skimpy outfit and fishnet tights, sparking a number of complaints from shocked viewers.
As the girls strutted around on stage, lead singer Nicole told the crowd: “We’re here to start your morning off right. Feeling real strong, real sexy inside.”
But viewer’s felt differently, with one blasting: “Uncomfortable explaining to kids why a singing strip show is on.. because that’s what every little girl should aspire to.”
Another posted: “I am sorry but not much dancing to me it was more about sex I think they are all too old for this not impressed especially for a family show.”
A third rejected the idea their dance moves were empowering, saying: “I don’t think dressing like a stripper is all that empowering. Becoming a doctor, lawyer or CEO is empowering.”
Barely-there outfit
The Pussycat Dolls are well used to attracting complaints with their raunchy shows on TV, and their performance on The X Factor in 2019 was no different.
Performing live for the first time in 10 years, the girls didn’t disappoint sporting an array of PVC sheer outfits for their raunchy performance.
Those watching at home couldn’t believe what they were seeing and took to Twitter to discuss it – with some parents complaining that it was unsuitable for a family TV show.
One person wrote: “Highly inappropriate content for this time of the evening. Pussycat dolls look like they belong in a strip club, not for prime time family viewing.”
A second added: “Cover your children eyes. #XFactorCelebrity.”
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Christ almighty!! Nicole is leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination there! Can practically see what she had for lunch #XFactorCelebrity #xfactor.”
Totally naked
Stepping away from the stage and her fellow bandmates, Kimberly decided to strip totally nude for Women’s Health magazine in 2014 to promote their body For Life campaign.
The blonde bombshell revealed at the time that she struggled with the pressures of being a popstar, and found it hard maintaining a healthy body balance.
“I know what it’s like not to feel beautiful. I’ve had the executive at the record label suggest I’d be better if I looked like an anorexic alien.
But I’ve always resisted the pressure to stick my fingers down my throat. I think I’m lucky my training has never just been about my body – it was driven for my love of dance,” she told the mag.
As for her favourite body part she says, “Shoulders and back. Ballet is brilliant for muscles in these areas, so when I see mine in the mirror, I’m like, ‘Yeah, I worked my ass off my entire life for those.’”
