Linda Nolan has left her fans in tears after she opened up about marking a vital milestone with her family.
The 62-year-old has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt message and says she’s “thankful” she got to kick-start 2022 next to her sisters.
In the moving post to her 27,000 followers, Linda shared a snap in front of a beautiful festive tree alongside her sisters, the former Loose Woman Coleen, 56, and their older sister Maureen, 67.
She captioned the beautiful photo: “Not only have I lived to see another year in, I saw it in with my sisters by my side and I couldn’t be more thankful”
She gushed: “There’s lots of great things planned for 2022, and I can’t wait to share them all with you… Here’s to an amazing year ahead!”
Linda signed off the message with a series of hashtags, including “#happynewyear” and “#livingwithcancer”.
The heartfelt post also included a video of the singing trio joyously dancing together and with other party guests a family and friends’ New Year’s Eve bash.
Fans and followers of the singers were delighted to see them having a good time as they took to the comments section to wish them a happy new year.
The Irish TV personality was flooded with heartfelt comments and inspiring messages.
One sobbing fan penned: “You are amazing. Happy New Year. Sobbing over this”
Another added: “Wow, I love your positive energy. Truly iconic.”
The post comes after the brave Linda recently admitted that she is ‘scared of dying’ as she opened up about her battle with cancer.
Linda said: “Every time, I worry if it’s spread again. I’m scared of dying. There’s so much to live for. You realise that when you’ve been through all that I have. Every day is a gift.”
Linda first found a lump in her breast in 2005 and discovered she had stage three cancer.
Despite being given the all-clear in 2006, she found out 10 years later that the cancer was back and had spread to her hip – In May 2020, the cancer then spread to her liver.
Linda and her sister Anne are both battling the illness, their sister Bernie Nolan tragically lost her battle with cancer in 2013.
