The Masked Singer UK fans convinced Robobunny is a double act after spotting clues

Fans of The Masked Singer all share the same unusual theory about Robobunny after they watched the first performance on the opening night.

The popular talent series returned to ITV on New Year’s Day and it’s fair to say viewers up and down the country were blown away with the performances on stage.

But by far, the most intricate costume of the series is Robobunny which towers above all the other costumes in the show.

And they weren’t the only people who were impressed with the robotic rabbit as Davina McCall was forced to pick her jaw up off the floor as the mysterious celebrity walked on stage.

After watching the clue-ridden VT and their impressive performance, many viewers are now convinced that there is more than one person inside the ginormous ensemble.

As the show aired, fans swarmed to social media to share their thoughts on the most outlandish costume the show has presented to date.

One viewer questioned: “Are there two people inside Robobunny?”, as another asked: “Is the robobunny part of a double act, they were doing low bits as the robot and then high bits as the rabbit?? #TheMaskedSinger.”

The judges were astonished by the jaw-dropping performance on stage

A third complained: “Robobunny. What the actual hell?! Two voices?!?!?”

But this wasn’t the only cause of contention about the celebrity singer, as viewers argued over who the identity of the star could be.

Fans were torn that the voices behind the mask sounded strikingly similar to that of Westlife band member Markus Feehily.

Whereas others focused on the water clues in the clip which hinted that the star could be Olympic diver Tom Daley.

It comes after Chandelier and Snow Leopard were unmasked on the show

Who do you think is inside Robobunny? Let us know in the comments below!

It comes after two characters were dropped from the competition after Chandelier and Snow Leopard were unmasked as pop singer Heather Small and Loose Women panellist Gloria Hunniford.

It’s fair to say that thousands of viewers at home were floored to discover the Proud singer perform on the ITV show.

However, many fans at home, including judge Jonathan Ross rumbled Gloria Hunniford before she was unmasked through the James Bond clues in the clip alone.
