Love Actually hit the silver screen 19 years ago, which brought the world some of the most iconic scenes in cinematic history.
The movie, which followed characters around during the lead up to Christmas, is a holiday season staple romcom.
One character in particular, Mia, swiftly became one of the most hated people in the film for tempting and seducing her boss who was happily married with a family.
Compulsive flirt Mia continually teased her boss, Harry, who was played by Alan Rickman. She even went out of her way to flirt with Harry at the office Christmas party, in front of his wife Karen who was played by Emma Thompson.
Karen and Harry shared two children together, Bernard and Daisy.
Scandalously, Harry falls for Mia’s advancements, and buys her an expensive beautiful dainty gold locket present. Karen finds the gift about her husband’s belongings, and originally believes it was for her and heartbreakingly realises on Christmas day that it was bought for Mia.
Karen was gifted a Joni Mitchell CD by hubby Harry, and was left beyond disappointed.
Mia is played by Heike Makatsch, the gorgeous actress originally hails from Dusseldorf in Germany. Since playing the cheeky Mia, Heike has ditched the sleek brunette bob and opted for a light blonde locks styled in beachy waves.
The 50-year-old actress looks worlds away from Mia, but still looks just as fabulous.
Since the movie, Heike dated hunky Daniel Craig, best known for his long running stint as James Bond. They were together for seven years during the noughties, before splitting in 2004 on “good terms” due to spending such long periods of time apart.
Heike has three daughters with German indie band member Max Martin Schroder, who is part of the band Tomte. They were married for 10 years, and since splitting Heike has been dating fellow actor Trystan Putter.
The actress works between English and German productions, and stole the show as she portrayed Dr Lisa Addison in Resident Evil, a 2002 sci-fi horror.
Then in 2006, she received the honour of being awarded an International Emmy Award for best actress for her work in the German movie, Margarete Steiff – A Story of Courage.
