Love Island hunk Dami Hope's modelling career revealed as scientist enters ITV show

Irish brainbox Dami Hope has been confirmed as a castmate for this year’s series of Love Island, but he doesn’t just have skills in the realms of science.

The 26-year-old hunk from Dublin is set to enter the iconic ITV villa in a search for love alongside his fellow Series Eight castmates, who were revealed by ITV bosses on Monday (May 30).

As a Senior Microbiologist, it’ll come as no surprise that dazzling Dami will be bringing buckets of scientific knowledge over to the villa.

However, it’s clear he’s also something of a model, given the amount of dashing shots which can be found on his Instagram page.

A slew of suave snaps, some of which have been snapped by photographers, show Dami kitted out in an array of stylish garments, from shirts and tuxedos to stylish shorts and puffer jackets.

One sizzling snap showed Dami showing off his muscly arms in a beige vest, which he paired with light blue jeans and a pair of matching trainers.

Dami deemed himself “The street cowboy” in his caption after accessorising with a necklace and black man-bag.

Another photo saw the science buff posing up a storm on a blue high-rise wall.

This time he donned a white shirt, a pair of blue trousers and white Converse kick down below..

Dami toyed with a pair of rose-tinted shades as he showed he was confident as they come in front of the camera.

In a nod to his sunglasses, he captioned the photo: “Live in blue but only sea red.”

Dami was dressed to impress in another photo which saw him suited and booted in a killer black tuxedo.

The soon-to-be villa hunk was branded “James Bond” by one fan in the comments.

The Dublin-based biologist is an avid fashionista who has sported various brands on his page – including ASOS, Dior, Zara, Jumpman Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen.

Dami revealed he wanted to try “new things” this year, when asked why he signed up to Love Island.

He said: “This year I was kind of being more open to new things and I think actually that’s why I put myself out there to get some new experiences.

“Love Island is a different experience, I will be talking to different girls, it might not go well with some, might go well with others, so it’s a fun experience.”

On what he thinks he’ll bring to the villa, Dami said “just myself” and that he’ll “try not to cause trouble” but sometimes it can’t be avoided.

He said: “Just myself – Dami Hope! Being me – funny and my personality. I don’t know if I will cause trouble, I’ll try not to cause trouble but sometimes you don’t intentionally cause trouble – but it happens!”

Dashing Dami said he’s a catch because he’s “very passionate” and is used to putting his partner first when in a relationship.

“If they had something they wanted to do or something they were passionate about, I’d make sure that even if it’s something I’m not talented at I’d get talented at it just so it helps them. I’m really good at being in a team and actually looking after each other.”
