Kaz Kamwi has opened up on which contestants smoked in the Love Island villa during her time on the show last year.
The 27-year-old blogger reached the final of the seventh series of the ITV2 dating show in 2021 with her now ex-boyfriend Tyler Cruickshank.
She recent took part in a Ask Me Anything session with fans on Reddit, with excited viewers asking her about her experience.

One user asked: “Do you drink alcohol in the villa? If so, how much/how often? Did anyone your season smoke and if so, where do they smoke? Do the islanders have pretty good relationships with the crew by the end of their time on the island? If so- any fun stories about your favourite members?”

Kaz responded: “We had two drinks a night. You choose between red/white wine, Prosecco or beer. We didn’t have any smokers and yes, they’re like your mates by the end of the show.”
In earlier seasons of the show, a lot of the Islanders had their conversations about the villa drama while smoking a cigarette near the iconic fire pit.

Before it was banned, it was revealed that the contestants who smoked were given 20 cigarettes per day.
Reality star Craig Lawson, who briefly appeared on the show on series three back in 2017, said at the time: “The show normally provides 20 fags a day per person – so five people equates to 100 cigarettes. Fags are on mass supply.
“But if you get through your daily allowance then you won’t be given anymore – no one should be smoking more than 20 a day, that’s a lot. Some people smoke quite excessively in the villa.
“I’m a non-smoker but I would still get a supply. You get so bored when you’re in there, that’s why you see so many people smoking.
“There’s only so much you can talk about your life.”
However, in 2018, ITV bosses decided to ban the showing of smoking on screens after many complaints from viewers.
Speaking to the Daily Star, an ITV spokesperson has since confirmed that only one islander is permitted to smoke at any given time.
In a bid to not encourage one another to take up smoking for the social element and to avoid conversations not being filmed, contestants can only go out one at a time by themselves to a designated area.
Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub
