Love Island's Paige Thorne 'feels humiliated' after Adam Collard cheating rumours

Paige Thorne is reportedly taking some time away from her long-distance Love Island beau after cheating rumours started to circulate.

After a video was released of Adam Collard with an unidentified blonde woman, Paige has reportedly decided to take some downtime with family and friends.

Adam’s reps told the media: “Adam headed to McDonald’s after a night out with friends.

“His friends were alongside him when a group of girls asked for photos and Adam being his friendly self was open to posing and chatting to the girls, alongside other fans who wanted to chat in the same video.

“Adam understands how this video looks but wants to state that he left the restaurant with his friends and a box of 60 nuggets (with nothing or no one else) with the intention of getting home safely.”

They added: “Adam and Paige are currently dating and Adam only has eyes for her.”

However, reportedly Paige has been “humiliated” by the rumours and needs to take some time away from the romance.

An insider told The Sun: “Paige is really upset by everything that has gone on and feels like she is being humiliated.

“She believes Adam didn’t do anything and knows women throw themselves at him.”

They explained that although Paige believes her beau didn’t do anything she finds it difficult to have her relationship in the public eye.

Adam and Paige met in the Love Island villa this year, Adam made Love Island history in the most recent series of the ITV reality show as he was the first contestant to return to the villa due to being unlucky in love.

Despite living in different countries – with Paige in Wales and Adam in Newcastle, England – the pair had been making things work long-distance and made things official soon after they left the villa.

She and Adam came fifth in the long-running dating competition, which was won this year by Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti.

It comes after Paige admitted that ITV producers spoke to her to make her give Adam a chance during her time on the show.

Speaking on FUBAR Radio with hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng, Paige said: “I was like, well, if he was like that then what is he doing in here? He’s just going to be a little s**t stirrer. I was going off.”

But the 24-year-old got pulled to one side by producers of the show, who recommended she should give Adam a try.

She explained: “I was like, because of what the girls have been saying.

“I don’t need to have a chat with him to know there’s not going to be a difference, and they were like no, be open-minded and just talk to him and give him a chance.”

Eventually, she did, and they quickly became an item and are still going strong now
