EastEnders star Maisie Smith has teased her return to the popular BBC One soap after quitting her part as Tiffany Butcher late last year.
The Strictly Come Dancing winner left the show in emotional scenes in December 2021, briefly reprising the role for one episode in March 2022 as part of co-star Keegan Baker’s exit storyline.
Now Maisie, 21, has admitted that she could “reunite” with her Albert Square family at any time and that the makers of the show would gladly “welcome” her back.

She told Inside Soap magazine: “The moment I left they said to me ‘We’re so excited to see what you’re going to do, but you’re always welcome to come back and reunite the family’ – and I said, ‘Absolutely!’
“I said if they ever need me, just call me. I have so much family there with cast and the crew, I don’t think anyone ever really leaves.
“That’s what is nice about EastEnders. You always have a place there.”
Maisie is currently starring on Channel 4’s physical endurance show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The gruelling series will see her take home a rumoured £25,000 for taking part.
A source told The Sun: “She got paid £25k for Celeb SAS which is at the lower end of the scale, but she’s hoping it’ll springboard her into other jobs.”
The lump sum is however a step down from her Strictly salary where she reportedly bagged herself a £50k bonus on top of her £25k fee when she made it into the final alongside professional partner Gorka Márquez.
Maisie recently went official with The Wanted star Max George after being photographed together on numerous occasions.
The pair confirmed their romance on Instagram and have since shared a series of sweet images together including one where they were seen kissing sweetly as she wished Max happy birthday.
