Jamie Theakston has claimed he is Traffic Cone on The Masked Singer.
The Masked Singer may have revealed two celebrities on the show this weekend, but one person whose identity remains unknown is Traffic Cone.
However, Heart Radio’s Jamie Theakston has confessed to being on the show – but is he joking or playing off the ultimate double bluff?
Speaking on Heart Radio last week, he told presenter Zoe Hardman, who had stepped in for Amanda Holden, and Ashley Roberts, that he was the one behind the mask.

Ashley, who is also facing speculation as Panda, said on the show: “Lots of speculation around The Masked Singer, always, lots of people think that Rockhopper is Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child.
“Now they’re doing some detective work here because she’s already been on The Masked Singer in the US, as butterfly, and people are like if you listen to her voice she sounds exactly the same…. but can you do another?”
Ashley and Jamie both agreed that they were unsure on the rules as to whether celebrities can do multiple stints on the show.
However, Ashley soon chirped: “But Jamie you’re not off the hook here! People have been saying you’re Traffic Cone so is there anything you want to add?”

Jamie chirped: “I am definitely Traffic Cone.”
Zoe added: “They get terrible singers don’t they, did they ask you to do it?”, prompting Jamie to push: “I am Traffic Cone.”
Ashley was left shocked that he was “blatantly saying it”, before he added: “I don’t want to ruin it for anyone but it’s me.”
Zoe added that she had recently heard Jamie singing in the toilet and claimed he was “terrible”.

Sadly, it does seem Jamie was joking, as he claimed he was unveiled “this weekend”, which would have been Saturday night’s show – and Traffic Cone is still firmly in play.
Jamie has been a strong theory for many weeks as Traffic Cone, among many other solid suggestions from fans.
Traffic Cone has sailed through to another week in the competition as last night’s show saw Rockhopper unveiled as Jaime Winston and Doughnuts unmasked as Michael Owen.
The Masked Singer continues Saturdays at 7pm on ITV.
