Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen posts 'mourning' snaps after social media break

Our Yorkshire Farm’ s Amanda Owen is back on social media after taking time off for mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Channel 5 star usually posts snaps of her daily life on social media on a regular basis, with photos of her children, animals and the surroundings being a centre of her profile.

Amanda has now posted for the first time since September 7 – the day before the Queen’s death – as she shared a photo of where she’s been mourning.

She took to her social media sites to share three photos of the countryside as she watched the sunrise over the hills.

The snaps showed a somewhat chilly morning with a light fog hovering over the grass as Amanda captioned the photo: “Mourning in Yorkshire #restinpeace #queenelizabethii #queen #yorkshire.”

Amanda was hit with almost 10,000 likes as commenters shared sweet messages.

One person wrote: “Our Queen would have loved these scenes.”

Another said: “I’m sure the Queen would love Ravenseat [heart emoji].”

While a third declared the views: “Totally breath-taking” and others hailed it “completely beautiful and tranquil”.

Amanda later shared additional photos of her children picking Sloe berries as her fans encouraged her to start preparing some Sloe gin in time for the festive season.

It seems that after a few days away from social media she’s happy to be posting as usual once again – and her fans are certainly happy to see her back and busy.

Amanda has become increasingly popular due to her TV show Our Yorkshire Farm which saw she, her ex Clive and their nine children look after their farm.

Fans were happy to see Amanda back

Fans were left shocked when it was confirmed that Amanda and Clive decided to separate.

She wrote at the time: “Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

“This hasn’t been easy, but we bot believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.”

They thanked everyone for their support and fans of the show have continued to support Amanda online in the months that followed.
