Ozzy Osbourne has claimed that during one wild part of his life, his tolerance to drugs was so high that it took four doses of anaesthetic to put him to sleep.
The former Black Sabbath singer, 73, said: “I had a procedure when I was doing all this s***.
“The guy putting the stuff in goes, ‘how long have you been doing this music?’ And I said so many years, and kept talking. And he goes, ‘Why aren’t you asleep yet?’”

He said that it took four times the typical dose to anesthetise him.
Despite becoming more sedate since the height of his excessive drug binges, he recently relapsed, revealing in a radio interview that he had bought some legal cannabis at a shop in LA.
Ozzy dropped £600 on the stash, to realise that he wasn’t going to be able to smoke it.
He said: “I got it and I thought what the *** have I bought that for? Four ounces? I just had Covid so I can’t smoke anyway. I’d had one of those thoughts ‘that would be good’. But I never smoked one.”
He also told Sirius XM: “The thing that keeps me away from it now is I got real with me. One of the main reasons I have embraced my family is because I am not out of my ****ing face any more.”
