Piers Morgan was delighted to catch up with Hollywood icon Dame Joan Collins during his time in the States.
The ex-Good Morning Britain star, 57, is close pals with the legendary actress, so they went out for a belated birthday meal at a lush spot in Beverly Hills, California.
The pair finally reunited at an an “old-school” Italian restaurant called Ill Piccolino, but they also ran into Frank Sinatra’s daughter Tina who was sitting at the next table.
After Piers celebrated his 57th birthday last week, which saw him insist he was “improving with age” after his wife Celia Walden teased him about getting older.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (April 6), Piers shared a sweet snap of a smiling Dame Joan sitting across the table at the restaurant.
The veteran actress, 88, is always dresses to impress, and this time she looked ageless as ever in a chic dress with pink and white details.
Topping off her look, Collins accesorised her gorgeous look with a pretty pearl necklace.
Piers happily admitted his Hollywood friends was looking “even more youthful & glamorous than ever”.
He also revealed he got to chat to Frank Sinatra’s daughter Tina, who was sitting at the next table, meaning the restaurant had some rather famous customers.
Piers penned: “Dame Joan’s got her claws out again.. lovely belated (my) birthday dinner in Beverly Hills with my favourite actress (looking even more youthful & glamorous than ever).
“Nice chat with Frank Sinatra’s daughter Tina too, sitting at the next table.”
Happy customer Piers recommended the establishment to his 1.8million followers on the social media platform.
He finished: “Give @ilpiccolinorestaurant a try if you’re in Beverly Hills, real old school Hollywood place with great Italian food and always a sprinkling of legends.”
Fans were delighted to see the pair catch up, and many were swooning over Dame Joan’s youthful looks.
One wrote: “Joan look fabulous [love heart emoji] Happy birthday to you Piers. Enjoy”
A second said: “Joan never ever ages hope she had a great birthday”.
A third commented: “She’s so old style Hollywood. Fabulous lady. They don’t make them like her anymore sadly. A true glamorous star.”

One fan, however, decided to engage in some cheeky banter with the broadcaster, asking why he never appears at McDonalds.
He asked: “Just for once Piers how about a photo of you and your celeb pals enjoying a Big Mac at the local McD’s”
Piers wittingly responded: “I do that every two months…”
Morgan is set to front his new primetime daily programme on TalkTV called Uncensored, which will debut on April 25.
It will see the former GMB anchor discuss the current affairs in brutally honest fashion.
Updating fans on Twitter, Piers penned: “BREAKING: My new daily TV show Piers Morgan Uncensored will launch on Monday, April 25. It’s time to put the world to rights.”
