Former Ghostbusters actress Kymberly Herrin has sadly died aged 65.
The former Playboy playmate passed away “peacefully” in Santa Barbara where she’d lived until her death, according to the Santa Barbara News-Press.
Kymberly famously appeared as the seductive Dream Ghost in the iconic Ghostbusters film which encounters Dan Aykroyd’s character during a steamy montage.

It was reported on Tuesday (November 15) that Kymberly had passed away on October 28 in Santa Barbara, California but no cause of death has been revealed.
However, some outlets have reported that the former model died following a breast cancer diagnosis.
Kymberly enjoyed a successful modelling career and once served as the Playmate of the Month during the 1982 issue of Playboy Magazine
The California-based actress also appeared in other classic flicks including Romancing the Stone, Beverly Hills Cop II and Road House during her career.
Paying tribute to the star, one fan on Twitter wrote: “May she rest in peace and have sweet dreams. Very sad news. Hope she is having sweet dreams.”
Another tribute branded her: “a beautiful woman inside and out”.
A Ghostbusters fan site added: “We here at Ghostbusters News offer our condolences to Herrin’s family and friends, along with thanking longtime reader Matthew Ballard for providing us the heads on the passing.”
Speaking about about Herrin’s character, Aykroyd said: “I don’t miss anything that we didn’t use. The ghost in the fort — the seduction ghost — in paranormal research that’s a common thing, ghosts doing sexual things to people.
“I have a friend who had three women visit him in a haunted house in Louisiana, and it was one of the greatest nights of his life. But in under two hours, you obviously can’t have everything.”
