Prince Harry let Meghan Markle “take over” their wedding, one body language expert has claimed.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released more unseen footage from their ongoing Netflix docuseries, Inbaal Honigman has judged that Meghan had more control over the couple’s big day, while Harry remained “reserved”.
A new trailer revealed more intimate details about their wedding party, with the couple spotted on the dance floor with the iconic 1960s track Land of a Thousand Dances playing in the background.

Speaking about their wedding night in the footage, Meghan said: “I just really wanted the music to be fun. Even our first dance.”
She then asked her husband: “Song of 1,000 Dances? A thousand dances? I always get it wrong.”
Speaking about the dance, Meghan explained how she was “spinning like a whirlwind” before adding: “It was so great.”
But body language analysis over the footage has revealed Harry appeared to be sitting back and letting Meghan do the talking.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Inbaal revealed: “As they sit on the sofa in the documentary and talk about it, Meghan is being very vivacious towards the camera, whereas Harry is quite reserved.
“He doesn’t participate in Meghan’s attempts to remember the song’s name, or in coming up with the lyrics.”
She added: “As she sings a few lines, he’s looking down, reluctant to be drawn into this part of the conversation. He even holds two fingers to his lips, a subtle move which shows he’s not interested in adding detail to the story.”
Inbaal, however, said Harry uses “supportive language” when talking to his wife – despite “not seeing himself as part of that story”.
She explained: “He encourages Meghan to recall the song, and retell the story. His body is facing hers on the sofa in a supportive way – he wants her to feel safe and comfortable.
“He nods throughout to make her feel secure, but the story about the song is her story, not his. He doesn’t see himself as part of that story. Her words reveal that the song choice was her responsibility. She says, ‘I just really wanted the music to be fun’. Not ‘WE’.”
Inbaal, however, said the wedding itself was “adorable”, with Harry and Meghan “enveloping each other in a loving way”.
She said: “They display a lot of eye contact, which shows how attentive they are to one another, and their bodies connect in a caring way that shows they feel safe and happy with each other.
“In fact, Harry has a little surprised expression in one of the photos, as if he can’t believe this woman of his dreams is marrying him.
“The group pictures show that everybody is happy, Elton John looks beside himself with delight, smiling with his entire face!”
