Rylan Clark has been told off by his mum for overdoing his fake tan.
Celebrity Gogglebox star Linda moaned that he slaps so much on that he seems covered in soot.
She said: “When he puts the fake tan on sometimes, I’m sorry but he looks like he’s been up the chimney.
“And the tan is a nightmare. I don’t know why it comes off him, but it gets everywhere, including his nice new velvet dining chairs.

“When he comes round here to my house, I say, ‘Don’t go on me chairs.’ Terrible.
“I mean, can you imagine if he went round someone’s house and they’ve got all white furniture?

“He couldn’t sit down, he’d have to sit on the balcony or out in the garden.”
Linda also warned her 34-year-old son that hotel cleaners must think he pooed himself because it gets on his bed sheets.
She sighed: “About six years ago we went to Tenerife for four days, so of course he’s got the fake tan all over him because, well, he’s white as a sheet normally and if he sunbathes his freckles all come up, what with his auburn hair. That’s what he’s like.

“We were staying in a villa and he had cleaners coming in to make it nice every day.
“I said, ‘Look at these sheets. The cleaners must think you’ve s*** yourself in the bed.’ ‘Well, Mum, it’s the tan,’ he said. ‘But we’re on holiday,’ I said.
“And he said, ‘Well, it’s not that f***ing hot!’ And it wasn’t, because it was November we were there.”
Long-suffering Linda told in Rylan’s new book Ten how she has stepped in to clean his tan-caked clobber.
She added: “His shirts are the worst, because of his fake tan. I say, ‘Give me them shirts and I’ll take ’em home.’
“I get the Vanish and soak them in that first, then I rub ’em so it all comes out, then I wash them in the machine.
“But I use Ariel soap powder for them; I don’t use the liquid because that’s no good. It doesn’t get it out.
“And you’ve got to leave it to soak. Otherwise, he’ll put them in the washing machine and they’ll come out and they’ve still got the fake tan all over them.
“And his sheets. Oh God, they take some soaking.”
