Sarah Jayne Dunn says she is more financially secure “than I have ever been” nearly 12 months on from Hollyoaks axe.
Last summer, the blonde bombshell, 40, confirmed she was leaving the Channel 4 soap due to the conflict of interest.
It came after the launch of her recent OnlyFans account where she would regularly update her loyal legion of fans with her exclusive racy snaps online.

Now, the mum-of-one has revealed that after leaving her 13-year acting role on the long-standing soap, she is now more financially stable than ever before.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Sarah opened up about the realities of living on a soap star’s wage while supporting her loving family.
She explained: “There was a reason I was obviously looking for something else to do alongside Hollyoaks and I think the misconception that people have is that if you’re on telly you must be making a fortune.
“I think people instantly go, ‘Oh you’re on telly so, one, you must be happy and two, you must be really rich’, and those things – just like any job – are not true.
“The way that these shows work is that to be making more money you need to be very, very busy and if you’re not very busy then you’re not making much money – at all. And I wasn’t very busy.
“So you’ve got that lined up with having a family and paying bills, all the things that we all have, post lockdown as well, that was very difficult” she confessed.
The starlet went on to explain that throughout her career she has often had to take on jobs that she didn’t necessarily want to do.
Sarah continued: “As an actor you don’t really make very much money unless you make it big, big time.
“So a lot of actors, you’re sort of forced to take jobs wherever they come in, whatever that job might be because you need the money.”
She added: “Often those jobs aren’t very long, you don’t get paid a lot and that money you’ve got to keep and that’s got to keep you going until the next job.
“So the beauty of being more financially stable is that I’m not having to go out looking for work for the sake of looking for acting work.”
When the actress admitted it was like a lightbulb had gone off when she decided to launch her OnlyFans account after posing for photoshoots in her free time away from the Cheshire soap.
The TV star went on: “I was doing photoshoots anyway so I was like, ‘If there’s a way of doing these [shoots] and one making money from it and two moving them away from Instagram then that was the way forward for me.
“And obviously that’s not the way that it turned out it was the best thing that could have happened to me.
