Sheridan Smith made a killing during lockdown, earning almost £300,000.
The talented singer and actress starred in various hit shows that aired during the pandemic as well as making a hefty profit on her house sale, according to reports.
Sheridan’s company Barking Mad Productions’s records show that the 40-year-old coined £293,995 by the end of April 2021.
Selling her £1.5million London mansion also fetched Sheridan a further £250,000, according to the Mirror.
Sheridan wowed viewers with her gripping performance in Four Lives as Sarah Sak – the mum of the first victim of serial killer Stephen Port.
The mum-of-one also played Jenna Garvey in Channel 5’s The Teacher, who was accused of having a boozed-up sexual encounter with one of her students.
The actress then starred as Kathy in the ITV drama No Return.
In other news, Sheridan was recently robbed of her jewellery after a raid on her trailer while she was onsite filming for a sitcom.
The actress is said to have lost necklaces and bracelets as part of the raid and is “very hurt” about the situation.
It is thought that the theft was carried out by a gang of thieves nicknaming themselves the Movie Takers, carrying out raids on other films and TV projects in recent weeks and months.
The incident was reported to the police on after thieves emptied Sheridan’s trailer of valuables while she was filming on the set of Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything.
A source told The Sun: “This was a very upsetting incident and everyone involved is shocked – but Sheridan is understandably very hurt.”
The source explained that it was Sheridan who returned to her trailer to find that the place had been ransacked.
They added that the multiple incidents in recent weeks is “very unusual” because TV staff regularly recognise one another, adding to the publication: “It could be that the same people are targeting sets, knowing there are high-value items.”
