As well as the glitz, glamour and spectacular dance moves showcased on the dance floor, BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing is also known for the amazing in-house singers on the show.
Flaunting their mesmerising vocals on the popular programme, the singers put on a fabulous performance every time the dancers hit the floor.
Covering a variety of genres, the fabulous performers conducted by Dave Arch have been known to move viewers to tears as well as get them dancing on their feet.

But many are unaware of who the talented vocalists are and what their lives are like away from the show.
Daily star has taken a look at the lives of the Strictly in-house singers.
Tommy Blaize
Singer Tommy Blaize is recognised as one of the lead vocalists on the popular BBC show and has been a part of the production for 16 years.
In addition to his singing ability, Tommy is also a composer, pianist, and guitarist and has been performing professionally since the age of 9.
Hailing from Toxteth in Liverpool, Tommy has gone on to work with the most renowned stars in the industry including Stevie Wonder, Queen, The Beach Boys, Diana Ross, Amy Winehouse, Phil Collins, Robbie Williams and many more.
He’s also recorded and released his own material.
Away from his star-studded career, Tommy lives a private life and is currently single, according to reports.
The talented musician also enjoys karate in his spare time.
Last month, Tommy told his fans: “Very proud to have passed my next grade. Thank you Sensei Harris for you friendship and knowledge. I value both dearly.”
Lance Ellington
Singer, songwriter and actor Lance Ellington also makes appearances as a vocalist on Strictly Come Dancing.
Specialising in swing and big ballads, Lance has worked with a number of well known musicians including Michael Jackson, Robbie Williams, Sting, George Michael and Gloria Gaynor to name a few.
But Lance also derives from a musical family as his father Ray Ellington, was an English singer, drummer and bandleader.
His dad was also well known for his regular appearances on The Goon Show from 1951 to 1960.
In addition to this, Lance’s daughter Lauren has performed in West End productions and hit the headlines in 2015 when she had an encounter with Justin Bieber.
Lance became a resident vocalist on Strictly in 2012.
Hayley Sanderson
Before joining Strictly, Hayley Sanderson became known for her 2006 single, which was a cover of “Something in the Air” by Thunderclap Newman. The popular song was used by TalkTalk in its television advertisements.
As well as being a singer on Strictly Come Dancing, Hayley also performs vocals and saxophone with Kitsch Lounge Riot and Pink Floyd’s tribute band, Think Floyd.
In 2020, Hayley decided to use her Strictly fame to help raise money for domestic abuse charities.
Andrea Grant
Vocalist Andrea Grant has been a part of Strictly for a number of years and she has also offering vocals for the spin off show It Takes Two.
Andrea previously attended the famous BRIT School and has secured two UK major label record deals as well as spending several years recording radio jingles.
She has also done session work for the late James Brown, Patti Labelle, Queen, Roger Daltrey, Donna Summer, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys and many more.
Known for fine her musical talent, Andrea has also sang at the BBC Proms at The Royal Opera House.
Sharing her excitement on Facebook after the event this year, she previously penned: “About last night. It was for me the gig of the year. Singing at the proms at the Royal Albert Hall with the ridiculously talented and inspirational Cynthia Erivo.”
Tara McDonald

Before her singing career on Strictly, Tara McDonald already had a flourishing musical career and appeared on another singing show.
Hailing from Dartford, London, in 2012, Tara worked as an assistant vocal coach on the first series of the The Voice which previously aired on the BBC.
Two years later she released a single featuring Snoop Dogg called Vay-K.
In 2016, her I Need a Miracle single was chosen as the Europride anthem for 2016 and became a chart success across Europe.
Earlier this year, Tara took centre stage when she joined the Strictly tour.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “6 weeks on the road, loved every minute of the Strictly Come Dancing Professionals Tour, the best team mates, dancers, crew, catering – and the best audiences in the UK.”
