Strictly Come Dancing recruit Kym Marsh has opened up about her hidden health issue as she prepares to perform the Viennese Waltz with Graziano Di Prima on the show.

Beloved TV presenter Rylan Clark welcomed viewers back onto the blue sofa where he caught up with two couples on the show to discuss how their training has been going so far.

Joining the 33-year-old on the show was the Waterloo Road star who shared her secret health battle which she has kept quiet throughout her dancing journey.
During the candid interview, the mum-of-four confessed that she suffered an ear infection more than six years ago which has permanently affected her balance and has since been diagnosed with visual vertigo.
According to the NHS, visual vertigo is a disorder characterised by symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness, disorientation and general discomfort induced by visual triggers.
The starlet is set to perform a beautiful routine to the song Runaway by The Corrs tomorrow night and it’s fair to say she is beyond nervous.
One of the biggest reasons she has been struggling with this routine is because of the amount of spins which trigger the blonde bombshell to feel extremely dizzy due to her condition.
She explained: “Well, you see, I’ve got visual vertigo. I had an ear problem about six years ago and it left me with visual vertigo.
“So basically, even moving lights make me feel weird, but I’m spinning and spinning and spinning,
“And there’s a particular part in this routine where I am spinning so fast and then he wants me to get up and do a turn on my own.
“Well, I can’t do them at the best of times so I’m literally like, ‘Oh my – what am I going to do here?’ she added.

It was at this point that Rylan asked if the twirly routines have been getting easier as the weeks go on, to which she bluntly replied: “No not really.
“It is when I’m with him because I’ve got him [to hold] but then you’ve just finished spinning really fast and then you’ve got to do that turn on your own. That’s probably the bit that I’m the most worried about.
“But do you know what? It is what it is and I can’t help having the problem that I’ve got so I’m just gonna do my best and the best is all I can do.”
