Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas desperately wants her beau Danny Taylor to pop the question.
TV judge Shirley, who has been married twice already, is hoping her boyfriend will propose soon – particularly after he purchased a big sparkler for her and locked it in the safe.

The couple have been dating since 2019, and it seems Shirley is now ready to take that next step.
The 62-year-old dancer says her beau Danny, 50, is going to “do it when he’s ready”, but with the ring in the safe he’s got everything he needs for when that moment does arise.
Shirley told The Sun : “We do have a ring in the safe. It was a real palaver, and not a small thing to get that ring together.”
She explained how she “always gives him a nudge”, but confessed that when she pushes him he takes ten steps back.
Danny and Shirley have lived together for most of their relationship but the TV judge has confessed she’s “not easy to live with” – but it seems moving in together for lockdown did them the world of good.
Shirley and Danny met in 2018 after appearing in a pantomime together in Liverpool, but things got serious for the pair in 2019.
They took an extra step in their relationship in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic with Shirley previously saying at the Good Housekeeping Live Festival that the pair now “know each other inside out”.
While Shirley wants to tie the knot with Danny – and they’ve discussed it in detail – she hasn’t had the smoothest ride when it comes to her love life.
The beauty wed for the first time aged 18 and the marriage lasted just five years as she tied the knot with dance partner Sammy Stopford.
Two years after the split she married another dance partner, Corky Ballas, before that relationship broke down when she was 47.
Shirley and Corky have one child together, Mark Ballas, who has also got the dancing gene and even worked as a professional on US programme Dancing with the Stars.
