The star was set to take part in the dance-off with Tyler West after failing to impress the judges and the public enough to get them a higher spot on the score board.

But before an intense dance-off could even take place, Tony opted to withdraw from the competition after the 56-year-old hurt himself on Saturday night.
Therefore Tyler West and Dianne Buswell have been given a free past straight to Blackpool as Week 9 sees the glitz and glamour take it up a notch.
On Sunday night’s show, Tess Daly confirmed that Tony would be withdrawing from the competition.
She said: “Due to an injury sustained on Saturday night, Tony is unable to take part in the dance-off and has decided to withdraw from the competition.
“This means there will be no dance-off tonight and Tyler and Dianne are through to Blackpool.”
Speaking on his exit, he said the experience has been an emotional one and said he joined the show to share one message, adding: “if you’ve got an issue with mental health then please don’t suffer in silence and reach out for help.
“Little did I know that I was going to learn a lot about myself in the process. I thought this ‘journey’ rubbish was nonsense, but my God the rollercoaster of emotion.”
He then praised his dance partner Katya as an “exceptional human being”, prompting Katya to add: “I loved us, I loved that we didn’t care what people thought, we did every single dance our way.”
Head judge Shirley Ballas said that Tony gave “100% of your heart” to the dances and begged him to carry on dancing and entertaining people adding: “You are a star. Well done.”
Fans rushed to their keyboards to share their disappointment at Tony leaving the show.
One fan penned: “Aw no, I’m sad. Tony has been genuinely entertaining. You can see he puts the effort in and has been improving since the first week.”
Another added: “So heartbroken for Tony.”
