Bradley Walsh, presenter of ITV’s The Chase was visibly shocked at Paul Sinha’s rare low offer for their first contestant.
The contestant, Cat smashed the cash builder, gaining £9,000 to take from today’s Chaser.
Mastermind Paul Sinha, known as The Sinnaman on the show gave her a low offer of £3,000 and made sure to highlight how special the contestant was, saying: “It’s rare to give a non-celeb this as a low offer”.

Paul was most likely making reference to the celebrity version of The Chase, where celebrities compete against the chaser in order to win the cash prize and give it to a charity of their choice.
Bradley thought Paul’s rare offer was “unbelievable” and encouraged Cat to speak with her team.
Her team went on to congratulate her efforts in the cashbuilder, but advised her to stick with her more-than-generous nine grand in order to make it back for the final chase.
Cat, coming on the show from Lancashire, kicked the show off to a brilliant start despite fans finding the change in schedule odd.
The Chase, which normally airs at 5pm on a weekday was moved half an hour earlier, airing today at 4:30pm, after Tipping Point with Ben Shephard.
One fan struggled with the adjustment, tweeting: “What in the space / time continuum is going on , it’s not 5 o’clock yet #TheChase”.
Another found it “weird” adding: “It’s weird having chase on at 4.30 #TheChase”.
The change in format for ITV’s daytime shows comes after the channel announced it would be making space for their World Cup coverage.
Japan is set to play against Spain at 7pm and the game will be aired on ITV1. Daytime shows such as This Morning and Lorraine also suffered schedule changes when the World Cup first started.
