Tipping Point's Ben Shephard blasts player as ITV viewers fume over 'horrendous' habit

Tipping Point host Ben Shephard had some harsh words for a clumsy player on the latest episode of the ITV gameshow after she kept repeating a “horrendous” habit.

Viewers at home tuned in to watch four contestants vie to win money from the coin machine, but were left distracted after player Becky irked players with her method of game play.

As she took to the machine to play her counters, both Ben and viewers were put off by her erratic timing, which often left her counters riding on top of the others and not landing on the shelf in time.

Ben finally chimed in and warned her about her timing

After a string of horrendous drops, Ben finally chimed in and warned her about her timing, as Becky complained that she had “another rider” coin.

“I don’t think you can blame anyone but yourself there, Becky,” blasted Ben.

“You’re timing’s off Becky don’t rush it,” he added, with Becky admitting: “I’ve never been good at timing.”

He went on to advise her on how to move forward as she faced being eliminated fro the show.

Viewers blasted Becky’s “annoying” habit

“This is your last counter, you’ve put three into drops zone 4 and nothing’s come out.”

She went on to drop her fourth and final counter which landed flat, as Ben said: “much better and it’s landed flat! Look!”

Fans at home were equally as frustrated, with many chiming in on Twitter.

One blasted: “I just switched on, is this episode dedicated to players with c**p timing #TippingPoint.”

Glenn made it to the final

A second chimed in: “Timing Becky, timing! Do these people never watch the show before they go on? No wonder you get riders,” to which another replied: “ I know it’s driving me crazy!”

Despite her poor timing, Becky managed to make it to the final two after seeing off fellow players Carole and Ross.

She went head-to-head against contestant Glenn, showed an impressive display of general knowledge and soared ahead of Becky with some lucky drops in the machine.

Glenn eventually left Becky trailing behind and saw her booted off, taking him into the final.

Tipping Point airs weekdays from 4pm on ITV1.
