Vicky Pattison broke down in tears after revealing an update on freezing her embryos with her fiancé Ercan Ramadan.
The pair got engaged in Dubai after Ercan, 38, got down on one knee during a romantic beach proposal in February this year.
The couple have revealed their plans to have children in the future – but have made the decision to delay kids.
They are now taking the next steps to become parents, with Vicky choosing to freeze her eggs.
She shared an emotional update to her 5 million followers Instagram, writing: “I’m in a really good place based on my blood tests and my scans for egg retrieval which is exactly what I wanted to hear.”
Teary eyed Vicky posted an Instagram story of her looking into the camera, adding: “Now that I’ve got this information and have a bit of time to reflect on it and work out what I want my next step to be.
“Do I want to freeze my eggs? Do I want to freeze my embryos? Embryos are my eggs with Ercan’s sperm already in them.
“When the lady was talking to us about that day it made us really emotional just imagining a tiny part of me and a tiny part of Ercan meeting for the first time in a little petri dish.
“I’m sure you’ve guessed by my little tiny tears reaction there that that is probably the direction I want to go.”
Vicky expressed her utmost desire to have children with her fiancé Eric as the couple make preparations with hopes to start a family in the future.
The pair first met in 2019 and have shared touching moments of their relationship on social media.
Ercan appeared in Vicky’s Instagram story as he joked around, to which she playfully called him “ever the mature gentleman”.
She added with a smirk: “Now you can see why we’re potentially not quite ready to be parents.”
Vicky also had a message for her fans who sent her messages with pregnancy advice.
She understood that her fans were essentially “coming from a good place”, but said that “everybody’s journey is different”.
She said: “I know that’s all coming from a good place, people are just trying to reassure us.
“But everybody’s body is different, and everybody’s journey is different.
“Just wish us good luck, or don’t say anything. It’s hard to say the right things to say though, and I know no one means to cause us upset or hurt.”
