Westlife’s Wild Dreams tour was initially scheduled for 2020 but due to coronavirus restrictions across the UK, the tour was postponed twice as crowds were unable to gather without social distancing.
When the tour was postponed for the second time in August 2021, the pop group said in a statement: “We are incredibly saddened to announce that due to the most recent government Covid guidelines around the delay in lifting restrictions across England, we are unable to proceed with our UK shows at Wembley Stadium this summer.”
Now, the boyband will return to London to perform for the first time at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, August 6.
But what can fans expect to hear on the setlist and will the gig be available to watch at local cinemas? Here’s everything you need to know.
Who are the members of Westlife?
The band was originally made up of five male singers but Brian McFadden left the pop group in 2004.

Where has Westlife played so far on tour?
The Wild Dreams tour kicked off in Kent on July 1 and has since travelled to the likes of Colchester, Dublin and Scarborough.
In November and December, Westlife will return to the UK to perform in Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, London, Cardiff and Belfast.

Are tickets still available for the Wembley show?
According to Ticketmaster, there are tickets still available for the Wembley show on August 6.
At the time of writing, Gold Circle standing tickets are available for £137 per person, excluding service charges and fees.

The show will kick off at 5pm with singer-songwriter James Morrison and girl group All Saints as the special guests.
Will the Wembley show be available to watch at cinemas?
If you are unable to make it to Wembley to see the Irish boyband, you are in luck as theatres across the UK will be showing the event live on August 6.
