Fans of Britney Spears went wild last month when she revealed that she’s pregnant.
The singer announced that she’s expecting a baby with her fiancé Sam Asghari.
The new addition to the family will be Britney’s third child, and her first with Sam.
She took to Instagram to make the exciting announcement, telling fans that she decided to get a pregnancy test after gaining back weight that she’d lost for her holiday to Maui.
The post read: “I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back … I thought ‘Geez … what happened to my stomach ???’
“My husband said, ‘No you’re food pregnant silly !!!’ So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby…”
Since finding out that she’s expecting, fans have been scrambling to find out when the baby could be due and what the sex is. Here’s everything we know so far.
When is Britney Spears’ baby due?

Britney hasn’t yet confirmed her due date but the pop princess’s social media could give us some clues.
In January, Britney posted a video on her Instagram and revealed in the caption that she was feeling nauseous during her trip to Maui.
She said: “I think I have a small bug … the only thing that is similar to this feeling is when I was pregnant…
“it’s the nausea that is the worst … It’s like I can’t wake up so I go to the gym trying to wake my system up !!! It’s like clock work.”
She added: “This has been going on for a month.”
We know from her pregnancy announcement that Britney took her pregnancy test after gaining weight back that she’d lost for her trip to Maui.
If the nausea that she was feeling back in January was morning sickness, and it had been happening for a month, then Britney may have been pregnant in December.
This means that she could be due at the beginning of autumn 2022, but nothing is confirmed yet.

The baby’s sex also hasn’t been revealed, but there could be another clue for this on Britney’s Instagram too.
When announcing the news of her pregnancy, fans didn’t miss that Britney posted a picture of a pink teacup and saucer surrounded by pink flowers.
This has led fans to believe that the star could be expecting her first daughter, as she already has two sons.

Sam Asghari is a personal trainer, model and actor. He first met Britney in 2016 on the set of a music video for her song Slumber Party.
The pair have been dating ever since and revealed their engagement in September 2021.
Britney has been open about wanting to have a baby with Sam, and it played a key part in ending her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021.
During her hearing, Britney told the court that she wanted to have more children and was being forced to take steps to prevent pregnancy.

She said: “I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”
She added: “I want to be able to get married and have a baby.”
Speaking to People before Britney’s conservatorship ended, Sam said: “I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves.”
