1000lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has reportedly been arrested for drug possession after losing an impressive 350 pounds. The slimmed down star was busted in Kentucky for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to The Blast.
Cops responded to a complaint back in August, and Tammy was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. It came shortly after the death of her beloved husband Caleb Willingham – and just five days after Tammy attended his funeral.
The Blast reports that Tammy is due back in court in April 2024 for “some sort of diversion plan” – which is a way to settle the score outside of the court system to give defendants an opportunity to avoid a criminal record.

Cannabis in Kentucky is illegal for recreational use, only legal for medical use under executive order – though by 2025 full medical legalisation is expected to take place. The recreational use of cannabis is legal in 23 states in the US as of 2023.
Tammy’s relationship with her husband was a troubled one, and she allegedly filed for divorce from Caleb after he gained 30lbs while still in rehab. Tammy, who has been succeeding in her own weight loss journey, reportedly “felt that he didn’t put effort into trying to move to Kentucky and get out of rehab to be with her”, one source claimed.
Caleb was just 40 years old when he died in July 2023. His family paid an emotional tribute to the star online, with Tammy’s sister Amanda writing on Facebook: “Please whisper a prayer for our family and all of Caleb’s family. Caleb Willingham is sitting at the feet of Jesus. Heaven got a good one!
“I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with him but the messages he would send helped me through so many dark times. I am so thankful for the love he showed my sister and all those he came in contact with.” He and Tammy met during rehab and married at the centre for battling obesity. Tammy gushed to People magazine at the time: “Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room. I literally married my best friend.”
Caleb previously confirmed his split from Tammy in an emotional Facebook post, writing: “If you were only here for my wife, then please delete me now. We are married by paper only right now. [It was] her decision, not mine. It was more than that.

“I’m hurt, mad, confused and alone even with others around. Thank you for your love, prayer and support,” he concluded. Tammy, meanwhile, had reverted to her maiden name and ditched her wedding ring.
Her sister Amy has also been busy with her own divorce, as her husband Michael Halterman began proceedings after four years of marriage and the birth of the couple’s second child.
