Fans of the Antiques Roadshow – a Sunday night staple – were outraged that their favourite show was cancelled on Sunday night due to a football match overrunning.
The BBC One favourite normally airs at 8pm but tonight it was bumped because of the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Brighton going over its scheduled time.
Instead, the network showed Our Changing Planet.

Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment. One said: “Fewmin no @BBC shambles yet again!”
Another added: “One programme i like on the bbc and its cancelled not happy BBC!”
A third chimed in with: “F*** the monarchy. I just want to watch people trying to hide being terribly disappointed by their antiques valuations.”
A fourth penned: “BBC not airing #AntiquesRoadshow because football overran. I take this as a personal attack.”
