After 17 years on ITV, Neil became a household name and was known for being clean-shaven and wearing a red jumper.
However, he looks unrecognisable these days performing with heavy rock band Marseilles.
The TV personality now sports long locks that covered his forehead and rugged stubble on his face.
He often keeps fans up to date with his music projects on social media, as well as his personal art work.
Neil still draws professionally in between performing with Marseilles.
He first joined Marseilles back in 1976, with the group releasing four albums and six singles together.
The band have also supported the likes of Judas Priest, Nazareth, Whitesnake and UFO on tour.
Marseilles went their separate ways ahead of Neil’s Art Attack career, but reformed after the show ended.
Art Attack ran between 1990 and 2007, was staple viewing for generations of young people, and inspired fans to get creative.
When the CITV series finished its original run in 2007, Neil took most of the set home with him, where it still lives on to this day.
He previously told Daily Star: “I’ve got all the stuff, it’s brilliant!”
Speaking of the giant paintbrushes and pencils, he also added: “One is in my daughter’s bedroom, one is in my son’s bedroom and three or four other pieces are actually in my studio at home.”
