BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty quips ‘I don’t like it’ as Carol Kirkwood speaks

BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty told Carol Kirkwood “I don’t like it” before the weather presenter could share her daily forecast.

The BBC regular stopped Carol from talking to share her dismay over some changes she’d been noticing after being reminded by the image on screen.

As Carol appeared to present her segment, she stood in front of an image of a pitch black sky – and Naga wasn’t having it.

Naga, 48, told Carol, 61: “I’m looking at your picture seeing the dark skies and thinking, I’ve noticed the dark mornings and the evenings drawing in just that little bit sooner or later in the morning and I don’t like it.”

Carol quickly said back: “No, well that’s the way it’s going to be, Naga.”

And Carol only had more bad news for Naga, as it seems that temperatures – at least in Rome – will be getting even hotter.

She said: “Yesterday in Rome, the temperature was 33.5C. The average this time of year is 30.5 degrees. Next week we could see temperatures in Rome at 40 degrees.”

Recently, Naga left her social media followers concerned after she appeared to be crying in one photo.

The fitness fanatic regularly posts snaps of her after a gruelling work-out, but one in particular left her fans worried.

She said in the caption: “Today I planned to do my first long run in 2 years… I slept well, lay in bed relaxing, answered messages and was generally relaxed.

“I wasn’t squeezing some exercise in between work and general life admin for once.”

But Naga pulled a muscle during her run and had to walk the rest of the way home – but she said it wouldn’t stop her playing golf later in the day.

One fan replied: “Hope you’re okay Naga! Look like you’re crying x.”

Another said: ” “Ouch, hopefully it’s minor and doesn’t impact your game later. Enjoy [golf]!”
