BBC Strictly’s Tess Daly sizzles in frock after emotional Vernon Kay confession

Tess Daly got fans all fired up with another dazzling display as she stepped out in a sizzling black dress as she presented Strictly Come Dancing in Blackpool.

The 54-year-old host never fails to disappoint with her glamorous outfits when she hosts the beloved BBC dance competition. And Saturday’s (November 18) ensemble was no different as she welcomed to the viewers back to the show alongside her co-star Claudia Winkleman.

The blonde bombshell looked nothing short of sensational when she stepped out in a long black halter neck dress which was covered in sequins. Tess styled her golden tresses into loose beachy waves which cascaded over her shoulders.

She opted for a full face of glamorous makeup which celebrated her natural beauty. The presenter added a pinch of blush on the apples of her cheeks and a touch of bronzer on the high points of her face.

To finish the look, she added a soft wash of smokey black eyeshadow which she paired with a thin band on eyeliner and lashings of black mascara. Finally, she added a swipe of nude pink lipstick which she topped with a clear lip gloss.

It didn’t take long before fans flooded the social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter – to shower her with compliments online. One user penned: “Tess and Claudia look fab! #Strictly” as another agreed: “Tess and Claud’s outfits are lovely again! #Strictly.”

It comes after the broadcaster shared an emotional message to her husband Vernon Kay. The Radio 2 presenter is currently halfway through a gruelling 115-mile ultramarathon to raise money for Children In Need.

The 49-year-old broadcaster started his journey at Victoria Park in the heart of Lecister and finished the eye-watering marathon at Bolton Wanderers stadium in his hometown of Bolton by Friday night (November 17).

So far, the radio favourite has helped raise over £1.2million for various Children In Need charities. Despite finishing the run at the end of the week, his doting wife was unable to cheer him on due to her commitments at Strictly.

To make up for her absence, Tess shared a loving message of support on Instagram. She said: “You might have heard that Vernon is doing an ultra marathon for Children In Need which is basically 115 miles in four days… I just want to say thank you for your support.

“It honestly means so much because he needs it to keep him going. He didn’t sleep much last night, his knees [are] hurting. He’s never run more than eight miles before so this is epic.
