“But I guess it happens and so the greatest news is they caught it early, they got it out – I’m all good.” She told her followers she’ll probably be “moving slow” for a few weeks.
The comedian kept her own spirits up with her sense of humour though and added: “Why am I still talking? ‘Cause I’m on drugs!”
She also told her followers she’s so excited to get back to painting and said she’ll be able to do it again soon. Kate then posted a video of herself walking down the hall at the hospital in her gown as she gave a thumbs up to the camera and complimented the artwork.
Kate then posted a photo with a big grin on her face as she held up her breakfast, appearing like she’s still in high spirit. She also told her followers what had led to her getting checked out which meant she was able to catch it early.
The actress explained she had been to the doctors to get her bloodwork done and one thing had come back high, so after going to the doctor again she had her heart scanned and the spot was noticed.
She was also flooded with messages telling her to get well soon as her followers sent love and support online. Kate has built up a popular fanbase over her years in the industry.
The star has worked as both an actress and comedian and aside from Big Bang Theory – where she appeared in eight episodes but was a key part of Raj’s romantic storyline – she’s also worked on The Little Hours, Garfunkel and Oates and Raising Hope.
