Big Brother icon Nicola McLean has revealed the show is set to bring back old favourites.
The CBB contestant spoke exclusively to the Daily Star during her weekly column and shared her thoughts on its comeback.
Nicola told us: “I have heard through the grapevine that they might be bringing in like previous contestants, but from the civilian series, so it won’t be celebs. Yeah, like Chanel, Aisleyne, Pete, they’re all sort of that kind of category. I haven’t heard exactly who it will be but I’ve just heard that.”

But how does she think the show is doing upon its return?
Nicola answered: “Listen, I think it’s so good. In my opinion, it’s so good to have it back. I loved the opening night with all the tasks that they got to do, so it wasn’t just the most boring night for viewers. I think it’s a very diverse cast, so I think it’s definitely moved with the times. You’ve got some strong characters in there. I’m enjoying it and I’m glad it’s back.”
“It is only week one, I think that we always want more. There’s been such brilliant ones that you’re always hoping for those moments. We haven’t had that moment yet.”
Nicola then added that we could have some epic moments with characters such as Olivia.
“But I think we could, with Olivia maybe, as I think she’s definitely watched a lot of reality TV and she’s trying to play and trying to give us that, you know, like the first night when she was put up for eviction and she rudely kicked off and was a total brat. I know she’s Scottish and my parents are Scottish, so I should be on team Olivia but I’m really not. She’s young, maybe that’s it, but I just found her as if she’s a bit out of touch with reality.”
Nicola also correctly predicted who would leave the Big Brother house first when we chatted with her earlier this week.
She guessed: “I read it out online that is Farida and Kerry and one of them is going to go tonight. Someone leaves today, I think it’s going to be Farida who will leave but I don’t think she should. I think that Farida is really outspoken and so is Kerry so, you know, I do expect fireworks from them. I don’t think that they’ll hold back.”
Big Brother airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm
