Britain’s Got Talent star dies as Strictly pros share tributes to ‘beautiful soul’

A Britain’s Got Talent star Kerri-Anne Donaldson has sadly died as Strictly Come Dancing professionals share touching tributes online.

The dancer, who performed on the ITV talent show back in 2014, has passed away.

It was confirmed by The Supadance National League that she died on Thursday (June 8) however it has not yet been announced how she has died.

During her time on the show, the performer managed to make it all the way through to the semi-finals before she was eliminated from the show.

The dancer was part of the group Kings and Queens, which also included Strictly pros Neil and Katya Jones.

Neil has since penned a touching tribute to the star online, describing her as a “beautiful soul” with a “heart of gold”.

He wrote: “Kerri-Anne Donaldson – remember that name and please never forget it because it belongs to a woman who loved to dance, create and perform, she had the cheekiest laugh and a heart of gold.

“She hated getting in the car with me, but would always listen to my crazy ideas, we shares so many moments and stories and she was always the voice of reason. Kerri you were my friend and like my big sister.”

Fellow Strictly pro dancer Joanne Clifton also paid her respects to the “beautiful dancer” online with a heartfelt tribute.

She wrote: “I have no words… This is just heartbreaking.. truly devastating.

“We’ve known you and shared the dance floor with you basically all our lives.

“Dance up there with the angels Kerri… you beautiful dancer, you beautiful soul.”

Fellow dancer Amy Dowden, 32, also paid a tribute to the young star, writing: “So shocked and sad. Such a beautiful dancer and kind soul!

“Sending love to all of your family and friends. Heaven has certainly gained an angel. Keep dancing up there lovely.”
