Britney Spears revealed she “quit the business” following her 13-year-old conservatorship in a new social media post.
The music superstar, 41, uploaded a throwback clip of her dancing in a crop top and shorts to the anthem Get Naked (I Got a Plam), as she confessed that is her most “favourite” song from her discography.
The Hollywood sweetheart then reflected on her former days in front of the spotlight as she dished the dirt about being “voiceless” during her 13-year-long conservatorship, which ended in November 2021.

Adding: “I guess it was all those rules you know !!! Guess all those rules and not having a voice for 13 years in what I wanted gave a lot of people a thrill ride !!! Oh well !!! Psss, no wonder I quit the business JUST SAYING !!!”
Britney then wrapped up the confession on a positive note as she flicked off the disruption she’s endured throughout her career and controversial conservatorship.
She added: “I’m going to London next week to go shopping, so things aren’t too shabby.”
Britney’s recent confession comes after the Gimme More singer admitted that she had no idea who Mick Jagger was when she met him at the MTV Video and Music Awards.
The Oops!… I Did It Again singer took to Instagram with the admission and snaps of the encounter all those years ago in 2001.
