Christina Aguilera spotted using mobility scooter on day out as she battles injury

Christina Aguilera has been spotted relying on a mobility scooter after suffering a grisly knee injury.

The Genie in a Bottle songstress headed to Disneyland in California with her nine-year-old daughter Summer Rain to celebrate the youngster’s birthday.

But Christina’s injury prevented her from walking around the theme park, so she relied on the electric scooter instead.

The pair looked thrilled as they travelled around on the device after dusk fell on the park, with Summer sitting in her mum’s lap and helping to steer.

Posting to her Instagram Story, Christina penned: “A knee injury was not gonna stop Momma from celebrating her favourite girl’s birthday at Disneyland!

“Love you Sum!”

The pair were accompanied by Xtina’s long-term partner Matthew Rutler and a whole host of family and friends, all sporting matching tie-dye t-shirts.

In one snap, Christina secured her blonde tresses in a high ponytail and disguised her face with a baseball cap and dark shades as the scooter tootled along.

The family were snapped on the rides together, including the Matterhorn Bobsled.

Xtina has opened up about her knee injury earlier this month at one of her gigs, telling the crowd: “Literally right before I got on the plane to come over for these shows… I have a knee injury now.”

She added that the love from fans helps her find the strength to come out until she can see a doctor and get her knee problem dealt with.

The Dirrty hitmaker shares Summer Rain with Matthew, and her older son Max with her music executive ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
