Coronation Street favourite Alan Halsall is reportedly in talks for this year’s I’m A Celebrity, with show bosses expecting viewers to love his “killer bod” in the jungle.
The actor, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, has been on the ITV soap for 25 years and is said to be at the top of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! bosses’ wish list.
Alan, 40, would join the likes of Danny Miller, Andy Whyment and Adam Woodyatt as soap stars who have entered the jungle in recent years.

And it seems bosses are certain dad-of-one Alan would go down well with viewers after his major body transformation in recent years.
Thanks to his soap role, Alan would come with a “ready-made fan base” too, who would surely tune in to watch him in the jungle.
A source told The Sun: “Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he’s in talks to join their 2023 cast.”
They added: “I’m A Celeb viewers love a jungle shower surprise and Alan is hiding a killer bod under Tyrone’s oil-streaked mechanic overalls.
“Alan might be 40 but he easily ticks the soap hunk box, too.”
An I’m A Celeb spokesperson has said any names suggested for the show are “speculation” – so viewers will have to wait a few months before the official line-up is announced.
Back in 2018, Alan posed for a shirtless selfie in Ibiza and left fans surprised with his muscular body.
One fan told him: “You look great!” as another commented: “Can we please just appreciate how good he looks now though.”
And in the years since, Alan has been sharing his fitness regime with his online followers.
He’s revealed that he enjoys workouts such as a 2.5k run or row, or a 2.5 mile cycle – as well as weights, of course.
Alan previously told The Sun: “I’ve had a PT for about four or five months. I’ve been coming to the gym for a few years now.”
